During the planning stage and looking at your website a week before travelling on 16 September 2022, The Garrison event was prominent. Your records will show more than just seen. I failed to see a connection with Peaky Blinders set in Birmingham.
Such events in Leicester were in the past and none appeared to have any involvement with NSC.
Also Dudley had/has events not connected to NSC as far as I could see.
Given that the NSC pays possibly 20% of people to wander around in space costume, I assume that they were performing when The Garrison was operating.
